Gift Guide: The Beauty Junkie – Blogmas Day 2

Hello, beauty lovers and friends of beauty lovers!   This is the first of a series of gift guide posts I’m doing this year in the spirit of Blogmas.  Today I’ve curated a list of 12 of my own personal beauty favorites from this year.  Enjoy!

BKIND Nail Polish $16

As I’m sure a lot of you know, gel and acrylics are terrible for your nails and though there are other options that don’t cause as much damage, there’s no color safer (from what I’ve seen!) than BKIND’s vegan, 21-free nail polishes.  21-free means they are FREE of 21 harmful ingredients typically found in most other nail polishes.

Sephora Collection Advent Calendar $49

This set is genius as it takes the guesswork out of shopping for a makeup lover.  There are 25 makeup, skincare, bath samples and accessories, so you can’t go wrong with this one.

Florence by Mills under eye masks $36

I’ve heard great things about this product and the company is owned by none other than Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things.  I’ve tried both the “Swimming Under” and “Surfing Under” eye masks and they are both very hydrating!  Each pack comes with 30 eye masks, so if you really wanted to go crazy you could wear them every day for a month!  You definitely get your money’s worth!

Kitsch Sleep Collection $36

This is by far the best satin sleep collection at the lowest price point.  Since I get rather pricey hair treatments, I want to maintain them as best as possible, and that includes satin pillowcases and scrunchies!  Satin is not only good for your hair, but for your skin, as well since they protect your face from facial creasing and can reduce breakouts by absorbing less oil.  A great gift for someone who wants to maintain all the work they do to their hair and skin!  Prevention is key, after all.

Krave Beauty Skincare

Krave Beauty has consistently given me great results with ALL of their products.  Their Beet the Sun Sunscreen, Great Barrier Relief serum, Matcha Hemp Cleanser and Makeup Rewind are just some of my personal favorites from them.

Glossier ‘You’ Perfume $68

OK, not gonna credit this perfume for curing my depression, but it’s practically impossible for me to be upset when I put this perfume on!  It smells clean and fresh and is made to enhance the smell of your skin and is said to smell different on everyone!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask $24

You’ve probably heard about this one a hundred times by now, but it’s the #1 lip treatment in the US for a reason! I’m not sure why it’s called a “sleeping” mask because I use it during the day and keep it at my desk!  This is a great option for any beauty/skincare lover, no matter their age or style!

Fresh Rose Water hydration mist $25

I’ve gone through two of these bad boys this year, since I love it so much!  I use this in place of a thick moisturizer in the mornings before applying makeup and it gives my skin the perfect amount of hydration without breaking me out and doesn’t mess up my makeup.  Who doesn’t love a refreshing facial mist?

Real Techniques makeup brushes & sponges $10-$20

Of all the makeup brushes and sponges I’ve tried throughout the years, Real Techniques is a brand I’ve returned to again and again.  They have brushes and sponges for every need, can be found at the drugstore, are low price and good quality.  Even if whoever you’re buying for already has brushes and sponges, everyone could use a fresh one.  This is one of those gifts that every makeup user needs and has on their list of things to buy, but doesn’t get it for themselves or take forever to do so!

Vieve Eye Wand $21

For the girl on the go or who doesn’t like to spend too much time on makeup, but still wants top-notch, high-quality products. Vieve is a brand made in Italy, and created and owned by Scottish beauty influencer, Jamie Genevieve.  It’s the only influencer brand I’ve seen that I believe will stand the test of time and I’ll still have in my drawers when I’m a grandma.  Currently, it’s only sold to the US through UK-owned Cult Beauty, the Vieve website and other UK retailers. I’m hoping in the next year or so the brand can be stocked by Sephora or Ulta…Jamie, please!  I’m begging you!

Fenty Gloss Bomb $21

Gone are the days of matte lipsticks that will dry your lips and leave them crusty and dusty.  K-beauty inspired lip oils and glosses have been all the rave this year and Fenty lip bombs have to be my favorite to come out of the trend!

Urban Decay Moondust Shadows $24

I used to spend a long time putting on eyeshadow as a part of my makeup routine, but now, I prefer a single, pretty shadow to dust on my lid and be done with it.  Urban Decay’s Moondust Shadow in ‘Space Cowboy’ has been my favorite.

VOILA! I’m sure any of these gifts will please the beauty junkie in your life.  If you’re interested in more gift guides, wish lists, and my fav all-time products, check out my Shop!
