Gift Guide: The Jetsetter – Blogmas Day 10

I’ve been flying on airplanes nearly every year since I was 5 weeks old…seriously.  I’ve been on a few cruises, have traveled to Europe and across the country. Although there are still several places I’d like to travel to, I feel like I’m a seasoned enough traveler to give some good gift ideas for the person who has already gone everywhere, or for someone who is going on their first big trip.  Without further ado, here are some gift ideas for the jetsetter.

London Fog Luggage

These are a bit on the pricier side, but I was lucky enough to receive one from my grandparents before I flew to Italy in 2016.  I still have it and have gone on many trips with it since then.  It’s a great gift for anyone about to go on a big trip!

Travel Wallet Necklace $25

Now, I know these aren’t the most fashionable or cutest gift, but they’re definitely worth having if you’re traveling to large cities or places where crime is rampant.  I was gifted one similar to this one before my trip to Italy and it was easy to tuck under my shirt.  This way, nothing too important was being carried in my purse and I felt better knowing that all of my more important items were close.

Alaska Bear Sleep Mask $15

A good eye mask will be especially appreciated for someone who has a long trip ahead of them, whether by bus, train, a flight across the country or to a different country entirely.  This eye mask in particular is contoured so there’s no pressure on your eyes and won’t leave marks on your face (these features will definitely be appreciated by someone who wears makeup!)

3-in-1 Handheld Fan, Flashlight & Portable Charger $25

Honestly, this is a great gift for anyone, whether they’re traveling or not.  This 3-in-1 handheld fan also works as a flashlight and a portable charger!  A portable fan in particular will be appreciated by anyone traveling in the summer to a hot climate! I wish I had one when I traveled to Italy in the summer of 2016, and when I traveled to Washington State this past summer.  I thought it would be overcast the entire trip when we went to the PNW, but boy was I wrong!  This one is on my wishlist for future trips!

Compact Memory Foam Pillow for Travel $25

Perfect for camping or anyone going on a road trip! This pillow is compact enough to throw in your suitcase, car or hiking pack.  Made of memory foam, it’s breathable, machine washable and hypo-allergenic!

myCharge Portable Charger $80

I know this is a bit on the pricier side for portable phone chargers, but it is so worth it and if you get anything off of this list, get this!  Everyone who has a phone should have this bad boy.  I carry it daily in my purse just in case.  When I traveled across the country to California for a work trip, one of my flights was canceled and I had to make last minute travel arrangements at a hotel in LA and book a new flight to San Francisco in the morning.  The thing is, my phone was about to die before I could make these travel plans and I did not have a charger.  Needless to say, I was panicking and a total wreck until a kind gentleman offered me his portable charger.  The next day I ordered this charger off of Amazon and vowed never to travel without it again.  This charger in particular is very powerful.  It charges my phone quickly and kept my phone charged single-handedly for an entire weekend when I went to a camping music festival.

Unidapt Universal Travel Adapter $29

This will be greatly appreciated by anyone traveling out of the country.  I used this one when I traveled to Italy to charge my phone and use my hair tools! Can’t go to Europe without one.

Double Zipper Large Capacity Cosmetic Bag $29

A large cosmetic bag is a must for anyone going on a long trip.  This bag is ideal for travel.

Happy traveling!
