Alas, the first recipe blog post for Blogmas! A classic molasses cookie that is sure to please everyone. I made this recipe for the first time last year and it was a hit amongst my family and co-workers. These cookies are sweet, but not too sweet like many other holiday cookies and treats, so it really is something everyone can enjoy. My fiance, Patrick, and my grandfather, don’t like desserts that are too sweet and they really enjoy this cookie recipe.
Also, I highly recommend dunking these cookies in your morning coffee, tea or hot cocoa. Thank me later.
